David Otunga is backstage when John Laurinaitis when CM Punk walks in pissed off. Laurinaitis cuts him off and says Punk’s problem is with Dolph Ziggler. Laurinaitis announces Punk vs. Ziggler at the Royal Rumble. The special referee will be Laurinaitis. Punk says if Laurinaitis screws him at the Rumble, Punk will be in jail for animal cruelty because he’s going to beat Laurinaitis like a bitch. Punk walks off and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and out comes Zack Ryder followed by Big Show and then John Cena. Mark Henry is out first for his team followed by Jack Swagger. Kane’s music hits next but he doesn’t appear. David Otunga comes walking to the ring with a microphone. Otunga talks with the referee and it’s announced that Kane is not participating and this will now be a handicap match.

Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long informs Big Show and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan that there has been a change to their scheduled tag team match against Mark Henry and David Otunga as Otunga has instead requested a rematch from RAW where Big Show will go one-on-one with Otunga, but this time, Mark Henry will be in Otunga’s corner!
In a rematch from RAW, “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show went one-on-one with the legal counsel for RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis, David Otunga, with Mark Henry in his corner. Early in the match, David Otunga gets taken to the outside, where Otunga tries to get Mark Henry to help him out, but Henry shouts at Otunga that Otunga had to get in there and do it himself! Later on in the match, Big Show again takes Otunga to the outside and, with Otunga on the outside, Mark Henry starts to enter the ring, but Daniel Bryan comes through the crowd and hits Henry in the back with his World Heavyweight Title belt! Bryan then lures Mark Henry away from the ring, allowing Show to hit the W.M.D. on Otunga en route to picking up the win.

Back from the break and Laurinaitis is on the phone with Brodus Clay and says he will debut next week. David Otunga is in the room when Big Show comes in. Laurinaitis wants Show to explain him knocking out Otunga on SmackDown. Otunga knocks Show for his short World Title reign. Show says he can beat Otunga with one arm tied behind his back. Laurinaitis likes the idea of this and gets Otunga to agree to it. Show makes Otunga jump back and walks out.
Big Show comes out first and the referee ties one of his arms behind his back. David Otunga makes his way out next as we get ready to go. Otunga moves around to start and avoids getting caught. Show catches Otunga’s leg in between his legs and pulls him down with the one arm he has. Show hits a headbutt and chop in the corner. Otunga gets a kick in and another. Otunga tries to take Show to the corner but can’t. Show chases Otunga around some more. Otunga finally thrusts him once into the corner but Show manages to toss him over the top rope with his left hand. Mark Henry’s music hits and out he comes. Show tries to get his right hand untied but can’t as Henry enters the ring.

Henry knocks Show down and turns around to World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan on the apron. Bryan taunts Henry with the title belt from the floor. Henry turns around to a chokeslam attempt from Show. Otunga stops it and Henry exits the ring. Show chokeslams Otunga instead.

Before the bell rings, David Otunga makes his way to the ring. He’s in his bowtie and argyle vest. Otunga says his name, and he says he’s the legal council of the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager, John Laurinaitis. Mr. Laurinaitis is responsible for the wellbeing of all the WWE superstars. While Mark Henry has the heart of a lion, he is not cleared to compete tonight. Henry has suffered multiple bruises to an already injured ankle. That has caused his blood pressure to rise, so the match will not take place tonight. The crowd boos. On behalf of Mr. Laurinaitis, he’d like to wish everyone a happy holiday. Big Show then KILLS him with the WMD! Coffee spills everywhere as he goes down! Mark Henry gets out of the ring, and he goes to the back.

The Bellas are now arguing in front of John Laurinaitis and David Otunga. They insult each other and John says that the board is watching Teddy Long. John wishes them a Merry Christmas and they kiss John. John likes what he sees. Vickie enters and she tells John that Dolph was cheated out of his title and he wants a rematch.

Orton stops Barrett, and sets up the table as he’s dazed. Orton looks to powerbomb Barrett through the table, but is stopped by David Otunga, who runs in and beats down Orton. Otunga looks to put Orton through the table, but Orton fights free and hits him with the RKO. Barrett is watching from the top of the ramp, Orton stares at him, then powerbombs Otunga through the table.
John Cena grabs a mic and begins to thank the troops. The locker room has come out on the stage as well. It’s a little surreal to see CM Punk standing at the head of the pack there front and center.

Cena says that for all the troops give, this is what the WWE can give back. He pumps up the crowd, and the superstars come down to shake hands and thank everyone for coming out.

Teddy Long and David Otunga are backstage. Otunga says Mick Foley had no right to put him in a match last week since he’s a Raw superstar. Otunga says the only fair thing to do would be to expunge the loss from his record. Long asks what he’s talking about. Otunga says Long may not be as creative of a GM as John Laurinaitis, but perhaps he can see things his way. Long does agree that Foley got carried away, and Otunga was just going to a party. But, as a WWE superstar, he’s subject to the whims of authority, no matter what show you’re on. Otunga supposes that’s right. Since Otunga is on Smackdown tonight, he’s going to show him just how creative he can be. Long says he’s been looking for an opponent for a particular superstar, and he thinks Otunga would be perfect. Otunga says he’s not on the show, and he just happened to be here tonight. Otunga asks who his opponent is. Long says it’s Sheamus. Otunga walks off.

Charles Robinson, my favorite referee ever, is the official of this match. Otunga gets a waist lock applied, and Sheamus quickly elbows him off. Sheamus sends him into the ropes, and he hits Otunga with a back elbow. Otunga quickly kicks Sheamus in the knee, and he applies a front face lock. Sheamus quickly powers him off and drops him with a shoulder block. Sheamus drops some knees. Sheamus punches him down on the apron before viciously clubbing his chest ten times. Sheamus then suplexes him into the ring for a near fall. Sheamus sends him to the ropes, but he lowers his head and eats a kick. Otunga explodes with a clothesline, and he viciously stomps away at Sheamus. Otunga drops an elbow for a one count. Otunga punches him down in the corner, and he clotheslines him in the corner. Sheamus is smiling at the onslaught. Sheamus then drops the grin, and he just beats the ever-loving hell out of Otunga in the corner. Sheamus clotheslines him down and follows up with a powerslam. Sheamus murders him with the Brogue Kick for the win.

David Otunga is telling Kevin Nash that he will be facing Triple H in a ladder match. It appears that hanging over the ring will be a sledgehammer and whomever grabs the hammer will have a legal right to use it until there is a winner. Nash points out the obvious nature of this. Otunga tells Nash that he will also be in action, tonight. Nash begins to walk away. Otunga wants to know why Nash doesn’t care who he is facing, and Nash says if it ain’t Triple H, there’s no problem. So yes, for the first time in eight years, Nash will be wrestling in a one on one match.

David Otunga walks up and advises against it. Otunga has a message from John Laurinaitis and wants everyone to shut the party down. Foley books Otunga in the Miracle on 34th Street Fight. And his opponent is… Randy Orton. Otunga looks worried as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes Randy Orton followed by David Otunga. The bell rings and Orton applies a headlock. Orton drops Otunga with a shoulder but gets kicked in the gut. Orton kicks Otunga in the head and clotheslines him out to the floor. Orton works Otunga over on the floor now and throws him into one of the Christmas trees at ringside. Orton throws Otunga into another tree as the crowd cheers him on.

Otunga rams Orton back into the apron. Orton takes a pan of Christmas cookies and hits Otunga with it. He wraps a wreath around Otunga’s head and continues the assault. Otunga turns it around and suplexes Orton on the floor. Otunga swings a kendo stick wrapped like a candy cane but Orton tackles him and takes back the fight on the floor. Orton beats Otunga around the floor and up the ramp. Orton throws a huge box wrapped as a present and knocks Otunga down. Orton takes Otunga up the ramp where several Christmas trees are setup and throws him into them. Orton brings it back to the ring and hits the draping DDT from the apron down to the floor outside the ring. Orton gets up but Wade Barrett runs down and attacks from behind. Barrett shoves Orton into the ring post and drops him with a big boot. Barrett brings Orton in the ring and throws Otunga in. Barrett walks off as Otunga pins Orton but he kicks out at 2. Otunga stomps away in the corner now.

Otunga with shoulder thrusts in the corner now. Orton fights him off and hits a pair of clotheslines followed by the scoop slam. Orton nails the RKO for the win.

Winner: Randy Orton
